DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Sharron Jenkinson\n \nIn her talk\, Sharron draws on research for her book about the history of the Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir written to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The talk goes significantly beyond just the choir in discussing the social history behind its formation in 1928 and its links to the Morris works at Cowley. Sharron is a former teacher\, married to a Welshman. She and her husband are founder members of another Oxfordshire local history group\, Steventon History Society. \nNon-members welcome – a donation of £3.00 towards the meeting costs would be appreciated. \nDoors open at 7 pm
