This illustrated book continues the story discovered by Christine Wootton following the presentation to Radley History Club in 2003 of a letter sent from the notorious Colditz Castle prisoner-of-war camp in Germany by Squadron Leader Charles Lockett in 1942 to his wife Eve, who was then living at Neat Farm Home Farm in Lower Radley. Since the publication of From Colditz to Radley. The Story behind a Letter from Charles Lockett to his wife in 2006 more information became available about the people and places featured. Christine found out that Charles's younger brother Peter had been a prisoner-of-war in Stalag Luft III at Sagan in Poland.
